Expand Scissor Jack

Clear the entrance of dirt and debris then place gate in doorway. Place the barrier with its face toward the flood threat and as close as possible to your entrance in a solid reveal. Using the supplied wrench expand the barrier horizontally into the side walls.

Tighten Ground Bolts

Hand tighten each of the 4 downward pressure bolts to compact the sleeve along the ground. Use the wrench to tighten ground bolts by only 1 turn or until cover is compressed sufficiently to create a seal along the floor.

26" of Flood Protection

Once Flood Gate is installed correctly it can hold back up to 26 inches of water. The entryway remains accessible while Flood Gate is installed. Flood Gate can be used inside or outside and can be used for doors that open in or out.

Do you need to connect multiple units?

If you need to join multiple units together to create wider protection you will need our Flood Gate Stanchion Set or if you need to join and create a right-angle corner you will need our Flood Gate 3-Way Stanchion Set (both sold separately).
NOTE: The base for the stanchion will need to be installed underground.

Enhance flood protection and maintenance. The neoprene Replacement Sleeve fits over units and is removable for cleaning. The aluminum Storage Cart System measures 30" x 60", holds (4) stanchions and (6) Flood Gates, and fits through standard doorways. Alternatively, the Storage Add-On System includes supports and rails to fit a standard 30" x 60" customer-supplied cart. Flood Gate Stanchions connect multiple units for wider protection and allow right angles or U-shaped formations around doorways. The Flood Gate Side Rail Set provides a smooth surface for uneven openings, creating a stable area to fit the Flood Gate.
