How Flood Barriers Work
Our unique flood barriers can be deployed in minutes
Quick Dams contain a super absorbent polymer that reacts and swells on contact with water. Once activated (typically 10 minutes), the water is contained as a gel within the fabric, thus acting as a barrier.
Pre-Activate Barriers
Pre-activate barriers with water in a bucket, wheelbarrow or spary down with a hose
Place Barrier in Position
Barriers will reach their full height of 3.5in in 10 minutes if enough water is present
Stack Barriers
Place with the built-in wedge and “mini channel” facing away from the water so they expand and lock securely in place
